Beginning with the 2006 fall season, all Burroughs athletic information, including schedules and results, will be posted and kept up-to-date at Highschoolsports.net. Additional sports stories and announcements will be posted on this site.

August 8 - Field Hockey (10th, 11th & 12th grades)
August 14 - Girls' Tennis (JV, V), Cross Country, Field Hockey (9th grade), Boys' Swimming
August 16 - Football (C)
August 24 - Girls' Golf
A postcard with times has been mailed to all student athletes.

| Guidelines from MSHSAA | |
The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) has put together a series of expectations for students and parents, in terms of behavior at MSHSAA-sponsored events (this applies to all JBS athletic contests). Please read and respect these guidelines.
"Eligibility to represent a school in interscholastic activities is a privilege students may attain by meeting the essential eligibility requirements established by member schools through this association and any additional requirements set by John Burroughs School for our own students. Eligibility is not a student's right by law and precedent-setting legal cases have affirmed this." To learn more about student eligibility, log on to the MSHSAA eligibility web page.

Science department chair, technology queen, and photographer extraordinaire Margaret Bahe has set up a webpage to showcase her photos of various sports contests. Keep checking as she updates her photographs often.
